Calcutta University Admission 2022-23 Open for PhD in Sanskrit Program; Apply till November 25

New Delhi: Calcutta University(CU) is inviting applications for admission to its PhD programme for the academic session 2022-23. Interested candidates can apply online till November 25, 2022.

Calcutta University is offering PhD courses in Sanskrit. Interested students can apply at their official portal caluniv.ac.in

To apply for Calcutta University Admission 2022, the applicant must have a Master's Degree in Sanskrit with a minimum 55% score or equivalent CGPA. A 5% relaxation is also offered to the SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.

Candidates will have to sit for the Research Eligibility Test(RET), and after that, candidates meeting the criteria will be called for an interview. Applicants with NET/ SET/ SLET/ MPhil certificates are exempted and can directly appear for RET-Oral.

Calcutta University PhD in Sanskrit Admission 2022-23: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official CU website at caluniv.ac.in

Step 2: scroll down, click on “Admission/Examination Notice” and select “PhD programme in Sanskrit 2022”

Step 3: Download and print the application form. Fill in the application form along with the relevant documents and receipt of the application fee.

Step 4: Attach a one-page research proposal and attach the NET/ SET/ SLET/ M.Phil. certificate (if applicable)

Step 5: Submit it at the Secretary Office, UCAC, University of Calcutta, Kolkata-700073 to complete the CU Sanskrit PhD Admission 2022-23 process.
