What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

Being a part of the education sector, allows us to shape the individual mindsets of different types of individuals. Moreover, the academic domain is constantly evolving and advancing to greater heights. It gives people like me the opportunity to learn and facilitate the exchange of knowledge for future generations.
What is your philosophy of leadership?
“A collaborative and democratic style of leadership for the education environment”
As a leader, I believe in creating the right environment for learning and career growth. A wide range of ideas and opinions are considered when I am heading a task. In every endeavour, I function to make sure there are no hurdles and bottlenecks whatsoever.
How does the curriculum ensure the best practice of industry?
“Hands-on training, practical pharmacy education and field training”
At our institute best practices are implemented by benchmarking the industry standards and the best of the academic institutions. We provide our students with the knowledge and scales currently used in the industry and academia. We organize industrial trips, guest lectures, workshops and seminars at our Institute in association with the best of the academic institutes.

How does your Institute welcome students of different socio-economic backgrounds?

Most of the students who join our institute are from the local region. However, there is no racial discrimination towards any individual from other states or region. As a principal, I provide instruction and support at various levels to my students and fellow colleagues. It is my duty to impart knowledge, good values, and provide modern-day challenges to my UG and PG students.

The faculty is an excellent blend of academic experience and industry exposure. They meet the qualification norms of regulatory bodies and augment their degrees from time to time. What are some of the biggest challenges for higher education?
“Lack of modern infrastructure and industry-aligned curriculum”
The major challenge is the absence of a curriculum that imparts essential skills to the students. Also, the syllabus needs more flexibility in terms of subjects chosen by the learners. Increasing the employability of the current generation is also a matter of concern.
