She has 12 years experience in Co-Dean Research and Innovation. She is a coordinator of EYUVA Centre Supported by BIRAC Convenor, Nutrition Society of India Bhopal Chapter.

Career College, Bhopal was established in the year 1970 by Career Society, Bhopal. We have completed 53 glorious years of academic excellence. The College is affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal and accredited A+Grade in its third cycle by National Assessment and Accreditation Council(NAAC), Bengaluru. What are some valuable insights of the program that you are offering at the biotechnology dept?

“Incubation, IP, Business support, Entrepreneurial and Supporting Growth-Oriented enterprise are available to the students” 

Our Department not only allots research projects to the students but always welcome their ideas. As a result, students win several awards at National and International level with excellent publication in SCI journals. In addition, Incubation, IP, Business support, Entrepreneurial and Supporting Growth-Oriented enterprise are provided to the students and fellows. Regular workshops/trainings/conferences etc are organised for the students to upgrade their knowledge. Industrial visits and educational visits are a regular part of the program. These visits provide valuable insight on how companies work and also useful information related to the practical aspects of the course which cannot be visualised in lectures.

“Provide Formulation of herbal products, Immunodiagnostic Techniques, Haematological and Biochemical analysis through our courses”

Biotechnology and Biochemistry are the courses which have a lot of potentials and job opportunities for the students. Under this various short term and value-added courses, We provided formulation of herbal products, Immunodiagnostic Techniques, Haematological or Biochemical analysis, Fermentation Technology, Bioinformatics tools and techniques etc.


What are the types of projects that the students are working on through this program in Career College, Bhopal?

Various projects run by the Department of Biotechnology and Biochemistry. Biotechnology Industry Research Assistant Council, a Govt of India of Enterprise supported E-YUVA Centre to support various research projects of Industrial value and societal benefit. It has well-maintained laboratories with basic and advanced instrumentation facilities. Various grants up to 5 lac Rupees per annum and stipend of 50 K are given to the students. Other completed projects are funded by MP State Biodiversity Board, Department of Biotechnology, New Delhi. The Department always involves students in basic and advanced research.Students and scholars are working on different projects like formulation of Bioplastics,Biofertilizers, Plant Based Meat, Formulation of herbal products etc.
