Dr. Bhupendra Prasad has been working as the Head of Microbiology Department at Career College, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. He has done B.Sc. in Biotechnology, M.Sc. in Microbiology and PhD in Metagenomic Observation of Sedimentary Microbial Community of Upper Lake Bhopal as part of his academics. He has 15 years of teaching experience and he has presented a paper in an International conference organized by Indian Science Congress Association in Mysore and also received 3rd Prize.

We all have witnessed the drastic impact of Coronavirus and this pandemic. Microbiology is a field where we study about the prevention of the spread of viruses, and how to diagnose and cure the viral and bacterial diseases, and after the pandemic, research opportunities have increased in this domain. And microbes are helpful in food production, environmental science, medicine and basic research and thus, in recent years the microbiology course has gained immense popularity due to an increase in the number of students coming forward to pursue microbiology as a career.

We teach our students on how to handle the microbes after gathering required information and knowledge and using proper equipment.

We have established modernized laboratories in our college campus to conduct practical experiments as and when required to strengthen students' concepts and give them an environment to experiment with their ideas also. All the laboratories are equipped with the latest instruments and equipment.
