What has been your vision for the Institute?
“Innovative teaching methodologies and practices for better learning”
The main idea was to provide customised academic programs through professional partnerships with the weavers and artisans. This allows them to hone their skills, nurture creativity, inculcate ethical values by carrying forward the rich art and culture of Odisha and hence, achieve global exposure. With unique associations already with LSF (London School Fashion), India Fashion Week London and International exposure to students in Milan, Paris altogether makes it very unique and helpful for the students to attract success. The parents are considering it a serious career opportunity for their children in order to pursue this designing subject. Which now is a win-win situation for both parents and us. Alongside, innovative teaching methodologies and practices are adapted for better learning and exposure in all fields.
How do you plan the marketing and administration of your Institute?
“Unique associations with industry and a strong digital presence”
With experience and time comes a certain amount of learning about strategy. In order to create a better world for designers, advanced strategies are implemented for the well-being of students and society. Stratification of marketing is based on market behaviour. As a brand, we create a safer zone and boundary to connect the demand and supply.
What are some of the biggest challenges for the higher education sector?
“A gap between demand and supply and lack of Financing”
"We don't grow when things go easy, we grow when we face challenges" is the most valuable lesson for me to date. Financing, family factors, and the utilization of all the resources available to students have always been the biggest challenges.

How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?
“Motivate their interests to learn new things”
The majority of our time is spent listening to what our students want. Positive thinking and a healthy approach are key to fulfilling them. Winning their trust will boost a lot of confidence in their interest to learn new things during the tenure of their course study. Each time we provide students with the best global exposure, we go the extra mile with them.
