Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Job Joseph: “A room filled with 30 different candidates as it was conducted offline. We were all given a sheet with different questions each and asked to fill it in 20 mins. An A4 sheet was given and we were asked to write within the sheet.” 

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Job Joseph: “Role of philosophy in the human condition.”

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively? 

Job Joseph: “I wrote about the history of philosophy and the role each philosopher had in shaping the culture at that time and how their successors improved upon their ideas and set the foundation for the modern world.”

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Job Joseph: “A 3-member panel consisting of faculty. It was an offline interview. The interview went on for about 20 mins. It was not a stressful interview but a conversational one. They did not even ask anything from my CV.”

Job Joseph: “XLRI Delhi was a new college and that meant that I had the chance to shape its legacy. 

It had the XLRI name tag which brought with it some prestige.

Placements were top notch."

What was the reason for you not converting other colleges? (if any)

Job Joseph: “Did not score enough in the other competitive exams.”
