  • With regards to fellow faculty, the best way to maintain healthy relationships is having proper communication, coordination, robust support, being trustworthy, offering help, giving respect, team bonding activities etc..

  • Encourage students to compete against themselves. Whether inside or outside the classroom, a student needs to feel that they are capable of success and expected to do well. Praising, encouragement and acknowledgment of progress can go a long way in motivating students.
  • Students already use computers, tablets, and smartphones. These multimedia tools have the potential to enhance curriculum engagement. Create projects using these tools to allow students to collaborate with each other

What are the challenges you faced/ are facing to uplift the quality of education of your department?

  • Lack of infrastructure
  • Shortage of manpower
  • New faculties need to be given proper orientation about the company and basic training before joining the department

What are the interventions and approaches you bring in apart from curriculum to train/teach the students?

  • Continually monitor the progress
  • Always have regular rapport with the student’s parents and be in touch to give the feedback and progress about the students
  • Never discriminate between the students treat them equally, but students need to be categorised in terms of their performance and behaviour by giving them grades like A,B,C. And treat as per their categories
  • These interventions are likely to be more formally monitored in order to track the child’s progress, whereas other interventions are more flexible, and adjust according to the changing needs of the student.
  • Classroom-based interventions often take place to support learners within their classroom environment. Working as mentors, students will be selected to work through a new concept or idea in a more structured and supportive way, this can happen on a regular basis through mentor interactions.
