Rawal Institutions

How would you define your leadership?

"Leadership is all about channeling your team efforts and skills in the correct direction"

Leadership, to me, is keeping my team together and motivating them toward achieving a common goal. And being the Director, I do follow the same practice of influencing my staff in a positive way so that they would be clear about what they have to achieve in the end. I am also responsible for maximizing their efforts, giving them direction and vision and channeling their energy in the right direction.

What inbound a student can gain from studying here in Rawal Institutions?

"They will get more industry exposure and practical knowledge"

Though we do follow the curriculum designed by the university under which we are affiliated. We at Rawal Institutions are trying to provide an edge to the students by bringing in innovation and connecting them to the real practical life outside the campus books. Opportunities are created at all possible levels for the interaction of students with industry people. This industry-learner interface gives them a chance to explore industry expectations, which skills are in demand in industries and where and how much they need to upgrade themselves, for which they do not get a chance in their day-to-day academic life.

How does the curriculum of Rawal Institutions ensure the best practices of the industry?

"It is backed by new courses and training programs as per industry demands"

There is no doubt to the fact that education is competitive and so are the educational institutions. So we really need to be conscious about the quality. Hence we are focusing on developing the academics to comply with the best practice of the industry. The disruption of all working mechanisms and processes by technology has been consciously planned so as to acquaint our students with the latest as a part and parcel of life.

How is your institution more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?

"We celebrate diversity by offering scholarships and organizing different festivals"

We have always been open to diversity and admit students from multiple parts of the country. Scholarships are provided to meritorious students and fee concessions may be offered to students on the basis of merit cum need. To build harmony and strengthen solidarity, we celebrate all important festivals, which may be important to different religions.

What should be the top priority of Rawal Institutions for the next 5 years?

"To make our courses in line with changing industry requirements"

We should work towards strengthening our efforts to make the courses more viable and employable. And for this, we need to sharpen the employability skills of our graduates. We may have to go beyond the curriculum to do so and we should be ready for that.

What are the greatest strengths of your institution?

"Our infrastructure, facilities and faculties"

Well-informed and motivated teaching staff, conducive academic atmosphere, state of the art infrastructure, are some of the greatest strengths of our institutions.

What are some of the plans that you’re currently designing for Rawal Institutions?

"We are crafting new programs and courses for students"

We are currently working to design more skill-oriented courses and ‘skill reforming’ programs, all dedicated towards enhancing the placement (which includes both personal and professional skills) skills of our graduates. Further, Faculty Development Programs are conducted on a regular basis to upskill the faculty members in newer areas of technology.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see for higher education in general?

"Students interest for few selected courses and rising fee"

In my opinion, there are some specific challenges as far as higher education is concerned. And some of these are as follows:

  • Students' inclination toward some specific courses and a general disinterest in other courses.
  • Disintegration towards research among students.
  • Rising costs of higher education make it inaccessible for many.

How do you establish a healthy relationship and environment in college?

"By communicating straightforward and celebrating my staff achievements"

I personally make it a point to remain connected to all the faculty members. Next, I make all conscious efforts to create a conducive working environment for all by celebrating their achievements to bring smiles to their face.

"Be dedicative and work hard to achieve your goals"

My only suggestion for the current youth and aspiring students is that do not look for shortcuts and work hard through your path.
