What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Being a part of a profession with a goal of Nation Building keeps me motivated”

I always believe that education is a major instrumental force in building a strong foundation of Human life, consequently the society and nation. I strongly believe that the education sector needs a strong academic administration to direct or redirect, shape, or reshape it as per the demand of the time. My determination and constant strive for academic innovations for excellence add to my strong bond towards the academics. Along with this, the perseverance to contribute to the lives of youth by providing the best knowledge available to develop their professional career keeps me connected.


What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“An effective leader brings the best out of available resources”

I always believe that leadership brings the best out of the available resources and achieves the highest possible goal, which aligns with the team members' personal and professional growth. My efforts are always to motivate and inspire the intuitive knowledge and skills available in my team members to cope up with the contemporary needs of the time. By doing that, I wish to prepare the team of academic and administrative personnel who effectively bring out the hidden talent and innovation skills in the students for their professional growth.


How do you strategize about the key programs and plans for the marketing and administration of your school?

“Catering to the needs of contemporary society has been our primary goal since inception”

Looking into the current and future demand, we have initiated B. Tech. with specialization in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. The curriculum designed in the other programs ensures alignment with the current needs of the Industry, and we aspire to update them as and when it demands. We wish to focus on the quality of the budding professionals more than the quantity of them. Academic excellence has been our primary area of focus for marketing purposes. For the holistic development of the students, we have Industry ready interactions and internships. These academic initiatives are supported by the hi-tech infrastructure and state-of-the-art well-equipped laboratories. 

“We have adopted a few global trends of academics such as Fast Track B. Tech., flexible and adaptive curriculum framework, choice-based credit system, exposure to online courses, and international tie-ups.” 

How does the curriculum of School of Engineering, P P Savani University ensure the best practice of industry?

The curriculum provides a pragmatic hands-on experience to the students.

We ensure the exclusion of outdated and inclusion of the contemporary to prepare the engineers, which are relevant and upgraded as per the industry's demands. Moreover, a few courses are taught and trained by industry personnel. From the first year onward, the students are exposed to the industries for exposure, training, and internships. It helps the students to establish an industrial connection with the curriculum.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the University and the students are?

“Holistic development and professional competence are my primary commitments”

I think developing the P P Savani University, an Education Hub, and a responsible, holistic development center is my primary responsibility. Also, prepare the university as a center of academic excellence by adopting new educational endeavors wherein students can nurture his/her knowledge and skills for a better professional career and personal life. For students, I think my focus should not be limited to making them just earning professionals but making them better human beings to serve the nation.

“We aspire to build a solid foundation of novel approaches to the teaching-learning process. We want to impart quality Engineering education in a comfortable, enjoyable, and easy-learning ambiance to the aspiring engineers. We are committed to prepare the human resource to cope up with the need of the hour.”

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“Students should develop a multi-tasking attitude and learn as much as they can”

The 21st century is an era of multi-taskers and multifaceted human resources. Although it is an era of opportunities, it also brings a lot of challenges for the youth. Developing employability, along with technical knowledge, is the biggest challenge. Therefore, the youth of the 21st century is expected to learn beyond the syllabus, develop practical exposure, and inculcate soft skills such as leadership skills, management, effective communication skills, and so on. 

The Covid 19 pandemic has also brought ample entrepreneurial opportunities; hence, the aspiring professional should also look forward to developing themselves as an employee and as a future employer.
