Ram Krishna Singh is the Dean of ACE College of Engineering and Management. He has done both B.Tech and M.Tech in Computer Science. He has a total teaching experience of 14.5 years.

What changes do you see in the education Industry now as compared to your times?

"Students are less interested in doing study and want to gain degree instead of knowledge"

If we go back 10 years, then you will notice that students themselves used to be interested in studies. Also, they were also serious about getting a degree and making a successful career since they used to cherish their skills. But nowadays they are not that much interested in studying and have become a spoon feeder because science and technology and almost everything has grown a lot. It seems like they are just studying to pass and not to get knowledge. 

What is the scope of BTech (CSE) in the upcoming years?

"Scope is very vast if you are skilled enough"

As far as B. Tech CSE is concerned, then technologies like Data Science, Neural Network and Artificial Intelligence are growing very fast and creating abundant learning and growth opportunities for students as well as for working professionals. As India is going digital these days, it will grow more with time and will create more scope for technology enthusiasts.

What are some of the biggest strengths of your college?

"Education, support and training which we offer to students makes us robust" 

We aim to provide the best quality education, guidance and career support. And for this, we provide free training to students and mock interviews in partnership with Mahindra and Mahindra company. The objective of this alliance is to provide an overview of the corporate world to students and to boost their skills so that they can secure a good job in reputed firms and organizations. Also, we are also the only institute in North India to have a Regional Training Centre. All this makes us strong and resilient.

Which extracurricular activities are organized in your college for students to strengthen their skills?

"We organize sports activities, annual functions and mind mapping games"

We firmly believe that extracurricular activities play an important role in the personality grooming of students and young minds. Because it keeps them physically and mentally fit. Hence we have annual functions in our college where students show their artistic skills. Along with this, sports events are conducted to keep them fit and enhance teamwork spirit among them. Lastly, we have brainstorming sessions like training, puzzle and problem-solving games. 

Is there any kind of scholarship that your college is offering to its students?

"We offer scholarships to eligible and economically fewer sound students"

Yes, our institute does provide scholarships to meritorious students and also to those who come from economically poor backgrounds. Additionally, the Government of India provides scholarships to those who are eligible for it, so students apply for it and get it directly from the government.

Any suggestions which you would like to give to the current youth and aspiring students?

"Don't get influenced by others, choose your own path as per your passion"

I would like to suggest to our students that choose your courses and branch as per your interest and passion. Don't choose things under peer pressure. Also, keep upgrading your skills as per the latest industry demands and keep looking for newer programs, Initiatives and certification courses.
