How would you describe your leadership style?
“Understanding, guiding and managing with a positive outlook”
Leadership means you have to understand the lowest level of hierarchy and their mindset. It is about leading for the change and moving towards success with everyone, from Top to Bottom. Leadership means guiding the team for growth with a positive aspect. A team is like a family, where you have all kinds of people and you have to manage them, sometimes you have to pamper them and sometimes be strict. But the fundamental of the team is - Together Everyone Achieve More.
What are your responsibilities being the Head of Placements?
“Connection, Identification, Organization and Preparation”
Handling placement is the process of connecting with the corporate through various events and activities. It is somehow like Corporate Sales, where we have to showcase our institution, to hire our students for the growth of their organization. The basic responsibilities of Placement Cell are to create the connection between institution and the corporate, to organize various activities in association with corporate and to identify the gaps of skills among students. Also, I am responsible to get the students trained on various industry based skills and to find the right opportunity for the students, where they can utilize their knowledge and skill-set to fulfill their career aspirations.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities towards the students are?
“Providing leadership and guidance for successful career”
Heading the placement my responsibility is to lead the students by making them aware of their orientation to transformation and to be a good ‘Human Resource’ in the career path adopted. It is a path they will be spending the crucial span of life, so my role is to supervise them and motivate them for long term goals. Also, I need them to understand the difference between a Job and a Career.
What do you think should be the Institute’s top priority over the next 10 years?

Any suggestions you would like to give to the aspiring students?
“Be mindful with your choices”
Students should not consider B-School as “Placement Agency” and should not target packages only while getting admission in the college. They must set their priorities based on the education quality, management, exposure and of course, finances. If you are trained in the proper way on industry aspects and given adequate exposure, then placement will happen automatically.
