What is your philosophy of leadership?
“Regular mentorship and due responsiveness with clear communication”
My philosophy regarding leadership is quite simple and liberal. I generally like to give people space to maneuver about during their daily proceedings; monitoring and checking upon them as and when required, so that the people under me get to work to their full potential and also maintain and improve the operation of the organization. I personally like to be approachable to my staff such that they do not hesitate from seeking my opinions and guidance while performing their duties. I also feel that communication is a great tool that enhances the development of any organization drastically, so I have always been an advocate of lax hierarchy as far as communication is concerned and promoting the people under me to do the same.
What are your opinions about the changes in the Education Industry?
“Digitalization and amplification of techniques being used for teaching-learning”
Due to the introduction of the internet to the Indian masses, the changes to the education sector have been vast during the last few years. Through the instant messaging applications available to the people, the transfer of intelligence and knowledge has improved. Introducing a wave of development all across the professional scenes, which in turn has a drastic effect on the education industry, even changing the way of teaching and learning. This has led to changing the whole landscape of the education industry making learning easy and knowledge more easily accessible for those who are willing and are competent. These changes have made it more imperative for the educational institutes to make changes - to the way they go about imparting education as well as the way they operate as a whole. All know that the traditional way of imparting education is now becoming obsolete and is losing its relevance at a rate that could be clearly felt.

How do you tend to enhance the skills of your students?
“Organizing events to build up diverse set of skills - professionally and personally”
We invite people from various industries to interact with our students. This entails conducting seminars, workshops, lectures, etc. for various skills and walks of life. Apart from these, we also have connections with various organizations where our students can go for training and internships, so that they can experience how the industry actually functions. However, character building and a healthy body is also an area of focus, which is evident in courses like Liberal Arts and activities like Annual Sports Day, Brand Craft, Kanpur Literature festival, HumanOrce etc. where activities are planned and conducted by the students under guidance of faculty. This helps strengthen the personality of students, and inculcate leadership and management skills in them as well.
What do you think should be your Institute's top priorities over the next 10 years?
“Transformation and upgradation according to current situations”
Due to the current pandemic, the future has become more and more unpredictable, so rather than setting a distinct goal, we have to set up short time goals which have been constructed with keeping in mind a general direction in which the institute should move forward. For us, it is the modernization of the way we teach and the improvement of the infrastructure in order to cope with the rapid development that has been happening in these past few years. Also, keeping up with the industry leaders of the current education strata to impart quality education to our students, giving them the onus to improve and become the best that they can.
How has the COVID-19 pandemic affected your institute?
“A transaction from traditional to digital methodologies”
The Coronavirus pandemic has affected the whole world in either a positive or a negative way depending on the situation. Our institute was affected quite a bit as the students had to go back to their homes mid course and didn’t get aligned with online learning for the first few months. Admissions were also affected, in turn, affecting the operation of the institute as well as the future development plans of the institute. In all this, the saving grace was that the technology of the world has advanced sufficiently to facilitate video conferencing which led to alleviation of at least some of the problems faced by us as it facilitated real time distance learning. It has brought us back on track, in terms of latest impartation of knowledge and significant data presentations, which would otherwise not be possible in traditional classroom teachings.
What are your opinions about the online education industry?
“Greater accessibility and wider growth approaches”
In my opinion, online education is a very strong tool for human development and is crucial to the development of our nation, as it makes education much more accessible to people of remote areas. And because of its widespread accessibility, it has a huge growth potential as an industry and due to the developments during the current pandemic it has seen enormous growth and will continue to grow henceforth.

Any suggestions you'd like to give to the aspiring students?
“Know yourself first and put in your best efforts”
First and foremost is the effort that you put in towards studying or rather anything else that you want to strive for, because effort is one thing that cannot be replaced by talent or other factors. Apart from this, you should keep a clear understanding of yourself so as to not set unrealistic goals for yourself which in turn are detrimental to your growth and development. Be true to yourself and stretch; but stretch not to break, rather stretch to grow - Grow Big.
