What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Changing lives to achieve greater information literacy”

Being an educationalist itself is a paramount factor of one’s life. He/she can bring a change in a student’s life like no other person can. Therefore, I do not consider it as my job or profession, but a purpose of life and follow it by heart. We are living in an advanced era where computerised knowledge is taking a lead over everything and to be at par with the world, we need literacy, and we need to make our youth learn. Thus, I feel connected with my participation to build a strong nation.

How does the curriculum of KMS College ensure the best practice of industry?

“Providing best industrial practices along with placements”

Our college is affiliated to IKG PTU and hence the curriculum is centrally designed. We provide industrial training and internships to our students and our college is also placement oriented to ensure that each student is professionally settled. Besides, we make sure that our college becomes self-employment enabled where we have adjusted our curriculum in order to adapt to the industrial demands. Also, we offer opportunities to attend several seminars and workshops to lend hands-on experience to our students in and outside the campus.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities towards the students are?

“Help students reach their academic goals and effective leadership”

My prime responsibility is to develop and maintain effective education plans so that we can enable our students to become employment ready and to adapt to the industrial changes. I ensure a good coordination between the teaching staff and the students providing a healthy learning atmosphere to all. Also, I participate in leading students for positive outcomes for their professional development.

What do you think should be the college’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“An education culture that fuels your learning process”

We are working hard to make this organization the most effective and efficient education institute for students globally. We strive to enhance in terms of infrastructure, facilities, education policies and good learning environment to the next level. Also, to bring in more placements and more industrial collaborations along with elevating overall performance of students, we are working with better developmental plans as well.

What would you like people to know about your university they may not know?

“Promoting various aspects of a student life in an organized manner”

We have a dedicated placement cell aiming to make the students placement ready and bring in companies to provide employment to our students within the campus. Besides, we are a part of a red ribbon cell in which all the colleges in our area join hands and organise events like blood donation camps and do social services. We encompass excellent facilities with world class labs with advanced equipment and machines. We conduct large plantation drives as well. Thus making learning a whole comfortable and fruitful experience for students.
