What keeps you connected with the education sector?

Teaching is the only profession that gives an individual a lot of respect and the only platform where your knowledge gets divided yet multiplied. The key factor to continue with this industry is to give quality products in the market that can serve the nation and become an asset wherever they go in their career.


What is your philosophy of leadership?

“Team management and togetherness”

Being the Managing Director of Alpine Group of Institutions, the philosophy that has been adopted by me is “perfect teamwork to ensure better results.” Though I understand everybody has their own views and styles, I carry with my chair a fair opinion and believe that “We are just delivery partners on earth, however, the supreme power has already decided what next is.”


How do you strategize the key plans for the administration of your institute?

“Designing specific targets and ensuring team efforts for its implementation”

Being the Managing Director of Alpine Group of Institutions, I, along with my team, do the analysis of the conversions that happen for the particular admission cycle and accordingly move ahead with the strategies that were fruitful. And the ones which did not cater the desired results, replacing them with the new ones in order to achieve the targets. Administration altogether depends on how well you can keep the team working with you motivated even in the darkest hours like factors affecting human performance due to social responsibilities, understanding the same and considering the need of the hour.

What can an inbound student gain from studying here in your institute?

“International accreditation for Hospitality programs”

In my experience, any student coming to our Institution can get the benefit of the foreign structure currently for Hospitality Courses. As we are approved by the “Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality (CTH), London” we offer flexible education with maximum practical knowledge in order to give students a better understanding of the actual work they have to perform once they have completed the course. We are the only college in Uttarakhand to offer Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) and Hospitality Management from CTH, London.


How does the curriculum of AGI ensure the best practice of industry?

“Learning with best technical aids to retain more”

Since we are a college level, so the curriculum always is decided by the Affiliating or Approving body, however, the delivery of the same can be different. So in order to give a better understanding of the subject, we ensure that we make maximum use of technology and show them visuals. If we analyze our brain is mapped in such a manner that it captures visuals rather than words so the practice of the same at Alpine is followed religiously and is assessed by the internal audit team.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth?

“Be wise with your choices”

Talking about the youth, let me be very clear and upfront, we have noticed that the students get fascinated by the newly launched courses which have been evolved by the private universities. However, this is just misleading the youth and to pursue such courses the students have to pay a handsome fee which in return doesn’t even give them jobs. Also, young minds think Higher Education is a status symbol and opts for private Universities, however one should know that the sequence stands very different, one should look for more than the status symbol and placements.
