Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Kamesh Peri: “The shortlisted participants were divided into panels consisting of 15 people each. Due to the prevalent pandemic situation, only a Written ability test was conducted online through the zoom platform.

We had to input the answer in the Google form link which was shared by the admission coordinator. 30 minutes was given for the completion and submission of the Google form.

Tips:

Listen to the briefing given by the coordinator carefully.

Analyze the topic and think regarding the points to be presented.

Organize the flow and keep it simple.”

Kamesh Peri: "WAT topic was "The impact of technology on medical, defence and other fields."

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Kamesh Peri: “Introduction to few technological advancements.

Kamesh Peri: “Personal interview was conducted online on zoom. The panel was consisting of 15 people for a total time slot of 3 hours. The average time of the interview was 10-15 min.

The interview was very normal.

Also, the job profiles offered at NMIMS are in various domains of Marketing, Finance, Operations, Consulting etc. Also, NM is AACSB accredited and has faculty who hold a doctorate in respective fields. Hence, I've chosen NMIMS over other college converts due to the above-mentioned reasons .”

What was the reason for you not converting to other colleges?

Kamesh Peri: “I've secured 93.6 percentile in CAT 2020 due to low sectional percentile in DILR. Hence could not crack any of the IIMs. I was determined to crack NMAT and get into NMIMS Mumbai.”
