Eligibility: 

• MBA Law: Minimum eligibility for MBA Law is passed in an LLB degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
• MBA in Entrepreneurship & Family Business: the candidate must have passed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• MBA Core/ Dual Degree: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate.
• MBA Pharmaceutical Management: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biotechnology with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. Or B.Tech./ B.E. in Bio-Tech. or Bio-Medical.

Selection Criteria: 

• Selection to MBA Law is done on the basis of performance in the Personal Interview.
• For MBA Entrepreneurship & Family Business, candidates will be selected through Business Aptitude Test followed by Personal Interview.
• Selection to MBA Core programs will be done on the basis of NMAT by GMAC Score followed by Case Discussion and Personal Interview.
• MBA Dual Degree Program: TOEFL score (93 or higher), IELTS score (7.0 or higher) with Compulsory Mathematics at the pre-university level (10+2).

Key Points:

• Candidates who have duly passed the Chartered Accountancy/Company Secretary/Cost Accountancy are eligible to apply for MBA Law.
• 30% seats in the MBA Program will be offered to girl candidates.
• For both the courses, candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree in part-time course/distance learning/correspondence/externally/open school mode are eligible to apply.

• Selection to MBA (Part-Time) is a written test conducted by NMIMS/ GMAT score of 600 and above/ NMAT score of 200 and above followed by Personal Interview.
• Admission to the Integrated program of SBM NMIMS Mumbai will be granted on the basis of Personal Interview and Academic Merit.
• For Weekend Family Managed Business Administration Program (FMBA),  2 -Year Business Experience is required.
• For MBA Social Entrepreneurship Admissions will be granted on the basis of the Essay Test and Personal Interview.

Key Points:

• For MBA in Social Entrepreneurship, Candidates having minimum two years of experience in social organizations like NGOs, Social Enterprises, Government Departments, CSR/ Environment/Sustainability departments (full time staff or as volunteers) or Corporate/administrative/business work experience are preferred for Social Entrepreneurship courses.
• Those applying for Family Business program must have actual involvement in one’s family business.

Selection Process: 

Selection to Executive MBA is done on the basis of Written Test conducted by NMIMS/ GMAT score of 600 and above/ NMAT score of 200 and above followed by personal interview. For Executive MBA in Pharmaceutical Management, the selection is done on the basis of a Written Test followed by a Personal Interview.

Key Points:

• Applicants have to submit Work Experience Certificate, Appointment letter, promotion letter and relieving letter along with the application form.
• The work experience should be full time excluding internships, projects, training period etc.
• Candidates who have obtained bachelor’s degree through part-time, distance learning or correspondence mode from a recognized University are also eligible to apply.

The institute offers Dual Degree Program in Business Analytics. This includes MBA in Decision Science & Analytics (NMIMS Deemed to be University – SBM) and MS in Business Analytics & Information Management (Purdue University, Krannert School of Management).

Key Points:

• Candidates who have qualified in UGC-NET (including JRF/UGC- CSIR NET/ SLET/GATE examination are exempted from appearing in entrance test but have to appear in personal interview.
• The candidates will have to discuss their research topic during Personal Interview.
• Part-time candidates will require a minimum five years of Full-Time Work experience in executive or supervisory capacity.

GMAC designs NMAT question paper in a computer adaptive way. The Questions are framed from three sections: 

The pattern of NMAT paper is similar to other MBA entrance examinations like CAT, XAT, etc. The paper will have MSQ type questions with four or more options.

• Total number of questions: 108 Questions
• Total number of sections in the paper: 3
• Total Time allotted: 120 minutes (2 hours)
• Mode of examination: Online (Computer-Based Test)
• Marking scheme: Three marks are awarded for every correct answer while there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Note: For every correct answer one mark will be awarded to the students and no mark will be deducted for any incorrect response.
