Mr. Ashwin Dhale is the Course Co-ordinator and Assistant Professor at City Premier College (CPC), Nagpur. With qualifications of M.com, M.com(Professional), and SET (Commerce), he has a vast teaching experience of 17 years. His area of Expertise is Financial Accounting, Cost accounting, management accounting, and Income Tax. As an expert in this domain he also has a book published on Income tax and Cost & management Accounting.

What is your philosophy of leadership? 

“To allow all stakeholders to put forth their opinions and suggestions and work in a collaborative manner”

I believe that the most effective way to lead college is to adopt a democratic leadership philosophy. Democratic leadership depends on the whole team to make decisions. I believe everyone should participate in the process. I intend to share responsibility with my team.

How does the curriculum College ensure the best practice of industry?

“By providing value-added training in the domain of Marketing, Accounting and Business management”

The City Premier College provides additional courses to the students for their overall development and make them employable. Some of these are:

  • Advance Excel 
  • Business Communication skills
  • Industrial accounting 
  • Digital marketing & many more 

We provide students with an internship program in the second year of their graduation. We are approaching industry experts/ former students who are doing very well in the industry and are willing to participate in our project. This internship program for six months is conducted by the Training and Placement Cell of the college.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the University and the students are?

“To provide proper direction to students for achieving their academic and career goals in life” 

Apart from supporting my students, my responsibility is to develop standardised curriculum, assess teaching methods, and monitor students' achievement. Also, encourage students to take a part in all the activities which take place in College, and shape a vision of academic success for all the students.

Presently, tackling the disruptions in the educational process caused due the COVID 19, is our biggest challenge. We at City premier College are conducting all classes digitally. The transmission of knowledge via digital platforms is challenging yet interesting.
