DECODE 2021 Syllabus

DECODE 2021 Exam Pattern

The DECODE exam will be taken in an online mode. Candidates who have successfully registered for the exam will be provided with a login ID and a password so that they can give the exam. There will be two papers in the exam including Aptitude Test and Creativity Test. The entire duration of the exam is 180 minutes.

DECODE 2021 Aptitude Test

This is the first paper and the time limit given to complete the exam is 60 minutes. The paper will have Multiple Choice Questions aimed at testing a candidate's knowledge in basic aptitude topics such as Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, Analytical Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Comprehension.

DECODE 2021 Creativity Test

This is the second paper and candidates need to complete the exam within 120 minutes. This paper is included to judge candidates’ creative skills.

The All India Forensic Science Entrance Test (AIFSET) is a national-level exam given by UG candidates planning to do forensic science study. Candidates whose future goal is to become Forensic Scientists can apply to the course by giving the AIFSET. Candidates post-qualifying the AIFSET exam get admission to the three-years, Bachelors of Science program.

About the Course

Bachelors of Science: Forensic Sciences course is a three-year UG course designed for the candidates interested in doing a study of Forensic Science. During this 3 years course, students are trained to understand and analyze a criminal activity and/or a crime scene. Forensic Science is categorized into three groups including Medical Science, Laboratory Science and Field Science.

• Medical Data Science includes forensic pathology, psychiatry, psychology, forensic medicine and ontology.
