Delhi School of Business provided 100% Placement to its Batch 2020-22

Delhi School of Business (DSB) presented its Placement Report in the online mode on 21st March 2022 through a Webinar to where Students, Parents, and Media Partners were invited. They have achieved the milestone of a 100% placement record. The highest package, average package, and median package offered to the students are Rs. 19.44 LPA, Rs. 7.60 LPA, and Rs. 6.90 LPA respectively. The session was also live on the youtube platform. The PGDM program of Delhi School of Business, Pitampura is recognized by AICTE, accredited by NBA, and has been granted equivalence to MBA. They offer dual specializations in Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, IT & Analytics, and International Business. DSB is proud to have achieved 100% Placement for Batch 2020-22. Out of the 120 enrolled students and after adjusting for students who opted to join their Family Business and go for higher education, 87 students opted for Final Placement and all of them have been placed.

More than 77 companies came to campus and participated in the Placement process. For the Marketing domain, the following companies participated in the Placement process- Nestle, MRF Tyres, Unicharm Corporation, Johnson & Johnson, Byjus, Marico, Blinkit, UpGrad, Berger Paints, Hitachi, MAX HealthCare, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, and Marriott International. Under the Finance specialization, students have been placed in ANZ Bank, WIPRO, Ernst & Young, S&P Global, and Deloitte. For IT specialization, TCS, Accenture, and Genpact participated in the Placement process along with other companies. Students with Human Resource Specialisation have been placed with Infoedge, Jaro Education, Unicharm Corporation, Nagarro, G4S, and Manpower Group. Under the IB, Supply Chain Management & Logistic domains, FedEx and Safe Express participated along with other companies.

The PGDM Curriculum of DSB has Ability Enhancement courses like Business Communication and Negotiation Skills which help in building the soft skills of the students. Special efforts are made to invite Industry Speakers from all domains so that the students get an opportunity to interact and learn from them. The students are assigned Faculty Mentors from Term I who develop an Individual Development Plan for each student gauging their strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. The students are constantly guided during their 2-year tenure by the Faculty Mentors. They are also given intensive training for Placements by conducting mock GD and Interview sessions with Industry personnel. The Placement Team also organizes Placement sessions for the students with Alumni so that they can get an industry perspective.

Some of the students who participated in the Webinar are – Tanuj Mohan Sethi (Great Place to Work), Aashi Bansal (EY), Tapur Arora (Deloitte), Sarthak Mehta (ANZ Bank), Prerak Gupta (TCS), Ankit Arora(S&P Global). Two students of the first year – Rhythm Agarwal, who has got a Summer Internship with Power Finance Corporation, and Mahak Bokaria, who has got a Summer Internship with Britannia Industries were also present in the Webinar. These students of 2020-22 and 2021-23 shared their learnings, intensive training efforts, and experiences at DSB with the attendees.
