Collegedunia Team: What was your NMAT percentile? Did you avail reservation benefits for NMIMS Bangalore Admission?

Sanya: I had scored 240 in the NMAT 2021 Examination. No, I am from the General Category so I availed the reservation benefits.

Collegedunia Team: Can you please describe your Pre MBA Academic Performance for Collegedunia readers?

Sanya: I had completed my graduation from Ahmedabad University with 3.39 out of 4 CGPA. I had also scored 9.8 GPA in the 10 boards and also secured a good percentage in the 12 boards i.e., 89%.

Collegedunia Team: Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any).

Sanya: The GD for the selection to NMIMS was conducted online. We were divided into groups of 10 and were moderated by 2 to 3 panellists. In the beginning, we were given 2 to 3 minutes to think about the topic, and we began and discussion was for about 7 to 8 minutes and it was soft GD. WAT was also an online based test. We were given 5 minutes to write and 3 minutes to think.

Sanya: WAT topic was social media, and its effect. The GD topic was how Covid affected the students.

Sanya: There were 2 panels and each panel had 2 of the faculty members of the Institute. The interview process was online. The interview duration was about 15-20 minutes. Yes, it was a stress interview.

Pro tips: Do not panic, and also read your resume thoroughly.

Collegedunia Team: What was your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively? 

Sanya: My points were: rise in the dropouts, the essence of real learning losses, increase in digital divide.

Sanya: The questions asked during the Interview are:

Sanya: The reasons were: NMIMS is known for business education, good faculties with perfect knowledge in the field and great exposure, practical and theoretical.
