Dr. Mohammad Asif Iqbal is an Associate Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department of Vivekananda Institute of Technology, Jaipur. He has 15 years of teaching experience. He graduated in Electrical Engineering in 2007. He got his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a Specialization in Power systems in 2014. He also did his Ph.D in the field of Solar Energy in 2020. He has published more than 50 research papers in International and National Journals and Conferences. He has authored many books and patents in the field of Electrical Engineering.

How do you tend to build an industry connect with this program?

“With the help of industrial courses, special seminars and real-world projects”

  • Every student of the department has undergone industrial training as per the RTU curriculum.
  • IV semester and VI semester students have undergone training for 45 days in industries of international repute such as BHEL, Indian Rly, KSTPS, SSTPS, NTPC, etc.
  • During the Covid-19 situation all of our students’ taken training from Coursera, edx etc. 
  • A training presentation is conducted post-industrial training by students.
