Central Agricultural University, Manipur runs multi-disciplinary UG/PG/and Doctoral courses under its various departments. The University gives admission to the candidates based on their result achieved in the All India Entrance Examination. The university practices semester system and the academic year is partitioned into two semesters i.e. spring (Odd) & autumn (Even). The Odd semester extends from August to December, while the Even Semester stretches from January to June.

The examination of the Odd semester is conducted in the month of December and the results are declared in the month of January. The even semester examination is held in the month of April-May and the results are announced in the month of June. The University circulates the examination timetable on its website before the inception of the examination.

The university provides the academic calendar of the academic session before the beginning of the semester classes.
