Jain University’s Design Program gets a new Modern and Creative Campus in Bangalore

JAIN University's School of Design, Media, and Creative Arts is relocating to a new campus in Yelahanka, Bengaluru, which will be India's most advanced Creative Campus, offering cutting-edge design and development opportunities. The top Design College in Bangalore will welcome more than 2,000 students from all over the world who want to gain skills-based education in creative arts, design, and media. The School of Design, Media and Creative Arts provides students with opportunities to turn their ideas into practical inventions through courses such as B.Des Industrial Design, B.A Communication Design, B.Sc Interior Design, and M.Des. User Interaction & Experience Design, among others.
The announcement of the new campus was made by Dr. Chenraj Roychand, Chancellor of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), during the closing ceremony of the Future Design Summit at the Bengaluru Design Festival. The festival, organized by JAIN School of Design, Media and Creative Arts and ISDC Global, was the world's largest-ever design gathering, with more than 500 events, 200+ global speakers, and a huge gathering of architects, designers, policymakers, government officials, creative minds, and students.
Dr. Roychand said that the JAIN School of Design is building a strong design ecosystem by providing a continuous supply of skilled manpower in the design and creative sector. He added that the university has been instrumental in nurturing creative talents and supplying them to this ecosystem through world-class infrastructure, facilities, and capacity-building initiatives. JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) is a multi-disciplinary university that focuses on creative education and entrepreneurship with a vision of transforming the university for the future and supplying future skills
Dr. Roychand also praised the success of the Bengaluru Design Festival and the team's efforts in aligning all stakeholders towards the Global Design Festival's single objective. He thanked the government for their support of this unique initiative, especially Dr. Ashwath Narayan C.N. who led the initiative.
JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) takes immense pride in presenting the JAIN University Youth Festival, a pinnacle of multiple International and National Level Inter-Collegiate Fests. The primary objective of this festival is to provide an unmatched opportunity for students to reach the zenith of their skills in various fields and achieve personal excellence. Furthermore, JAIN University Youth Festival aims; to provide a stage for participants to exhibit their talents and host the best competition in the country.
Various Faculty of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), namely: The faculty of Engineering & Technology, Faculty of Sciences, Faculty of Management, Faculty of Commerce, Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Faculty of Creative Arts and Design constitute this monumental Youth Festival.
The Festival is a fusion of Management, Cultural, Media, Science & Technology, and Design Fests. It is unparalleled in magnitude and guarantees an exhilarating experience to all. It is a platform that embraces professionalism, enhances culture, and provides entertainment as it has creativity coursing through its veins. It explores various facets of human life that complement one another – the physical, intellectual and innovative.

A legacy spanning over two decades, numerous fests organized by various schools of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) have mustered this year to make the JAIN University Youth Festival to an event that shows magnanimity, excellence, and perfection. The JAIN University Youth Festival, under its umbrella of fests, has seen a footfall of 15,000 people each year, with participation from some of the top universities across the world. The Indian School of Business (ISB), SP Jain Global, IIT Kharagpur, IIMs, Christ University, St. Joseph's University, Mount Carmel College, and universities from Singapore, Netherlands, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Dubai, Nepal, Germany, etc. have been a part of the fest.
This Festival has also hosted notable celebrities and artists such as Priyanka Sharma, Naser al Azzeh, Sharman Joshi, Rahul Subramanian, Akash Gupta, Urooj Ashfaq, Saroj Khan, Priya Mani, and Soha Ali Khan, to name a few. Adorned by millions, this is the ideal location for any artist to showcase their finesse and extend their experience as judges.
