Describe the general setting of WAT / GD (if any)?

Surya Narayan Pradhan: “The GD was based on sensitive current affairs. It was very tense and quick, all the participants were very spontaneous and competitive. I found the topic moderate and put forward my points directly although I got only a single chance to speak in the GD.”

What was the WAT / GD Topic?

Surya Narayan Pradhan: “The WAT topic will be basically the same as your GD. You will get around five minutes to get your views on the paper. Don't forget to carry your pen.”

What were your answer/points put forward for the WAT or GD respectively?

Surya Narayan Pradhan: “I was one among the few minorities who were there, but I found it perfect because the panel was very much into us.”

Describe the general setting of your personal Interview.

Surya Narayan Pradhan: “PI started with pretty basic questions. Followed by what you have put on your CV during filling the XIMB form. Then few questions based on your native land, events Associated with it, political leaders during those periods. Then some questions if you have low marks and to justify them. I found the panelists very open to speaking up. They were pretty interested in my past achievements and experiences.”

Mention 3 reasons why you chose this college over other colleges which you converted.

Surya Narayan Pradhan: “Good history, alums in great positions on corporate. Perfect placements. I have heard about it from my childhood days. Perfect distance from my home, two to three hours by bus and 2 hrs by car. It was just perfect for me.”

What was the reason for you not converting other colleges? (if any)

Surya Narayan Pradhan: “I scored pretty bad in CAT as I attempted it without zero preparation. Then I got serious and started studying. Then I improved my score in XAT and then it was good enough to get me into the cutoff.”
