 Being the Assistant Professor of HR & Marketing, how do you plan activities and programs to enhance the skills of the students?

“Well planned academic structure with activity-based learning in the classroom for every course”

Being the assistant professor I plan my activities based on what are the real requirements of my students like before delivering the lectures I look forward to making the subject content interesting and understandable to my students, while in the classroom I make my students learn the subject content through presentations and management games, through management games I assure that they understand the concepts by being completely involved in the classroom. My approach is student-centric.


What do you think are your roles and responsibilities to the institutes and the students?

“Guidance and inspiration with a direction to success and accomplishment”

To be a great mentor and guide for the students and to make the experience real-time wok environment which would help them in developing their mindsets according to the requirements of today’s corporate world, and for the institution to be a great expert which can both guide the students and look forward to the all-round development of the institution.


What is your strategy to make your courses different from that of other institutions?

“Bridging the gap between theoretical learning and experiential knowledge”

  • We aim at making our courses interesting and according to the requirement of today’s corporate world,
  • We encourage our students to focus on the practical part rather than simply focusing on the course content,
  • We ensure the all-round development of our students and include workshops and project works to make our students learn the contents in a more efficient and challenging way.

What is your strategy to train yourself to deliver these programs to the students?

“Preparation of lectures and organizing seminars for better understanding of the academia”

I believe that training is necessary for both students and teachers, before I deliver any lecture to my students I firstly look for the necessity of the content for the students I consult authentic books and prepare a presentation covering all important points; I read books to get examples so that the content can be made easy to understand. I make my lectures according to the needs of students and the corporate world. 


What is the future scope of HR/Marketing from your institution?

“Association with several companies and personality development of students”

Both HR/Marketing have a very wide scope as future requirements of highly emerging corporate trends, marketing departments require good managers to market products effectively, and HR for the proper maintenance of human resources so that proper structure of an organization can be maintained.

What is your approach to making a healthy environment for your students?

“Holistic atmosphere with open communication among the students and faculty members”

We focus on students centric classroom model so that students can remain involved with what I want them to learn, I often ask for their queries and try to solve their problems, I try to remain attached to them so that they may feel free to share their views. Proper feedback from both sides so that areas for improvement can be identified and a healthy environment can be maintained.


What are the major challenges that you have faced in IILM? How did you overcome them?

“To enhance the importance of hard work and determination in the work to achieve success in career”

A major challenge that I faced was making my students learn the importance of hard work and making them work smarter to make them a successful human being in life. I overcome these challenges by making my students learn the importance of hard work by keeping them involved in the classroom making them understand concepts through games and role-playing and through an open door policy through which students can approach me anytime. 


What goals do you have for your courses for the next few years?

“To enrich the learning with practical knowledge and establish a career with settled placements”

To make the courses according to the requirements and demands of the emerging corporate world, we are coming up with better learning systems to maintain the quality of our courses, and we have identified the areas where we need improvement.

What suggestions you would like to give to the students pursuing higher education?

To be successful In life always follow your passion, it is necessary to study but along with that you must also work hard and smart as there are no shortcuts In life. What I believe is, to lead a successful and happy life one should always look forward to following what he/she loves and to make their paths then simply following the paths created by others.
