What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Contributing to a well-learned and open-minded society”

The benefits of education are many. Not only will you personally benefit from receiving an education but your society and community receive benefits of education as well. Societies with higher rates of degree completion and levels of education tend to be healthier, have higher rates of economic stability, lower crime, and greater equality. These are the few reasons which forced me to stay in this sector.

What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“Build leadership capacity by empowering students and educators”

My educational philosophy of leadership would indeed begin and end with developing a positive culture that students, staff, and community members are a part of. I always teach them to rather find ways to escape. Educational administrators must be able to build relationships with all stakeholders, discover and play to the strengths of their staff and school community members. I want to be a leader who explicitly communicates with all stakeholders and passionately implements the above key components for creating a positive learning culture within a school or system. My leadership style by default is a collaborative, coaching style yet it’s transformational.

How does the curriculum of dignitary ensure the best practice of industry?

“Well-timed and well-deliberated exposure to the industry”

The Government, Industry, and Academia are three different worlds. All three have different purposes and approaches. However, the rapid pace of change across the globe has compelled them to function in sync with each other to address some of the major challenges of the higher education landscape. Besides imparting the core or technical knowledge, academia should also try to focus on the softer and behavioral aspects such as interpersonal skills, leadership capability, attitude, communication skills (with increased emphasis on learning the English language), etc. to ensure the success of individuals once they join the industry.

How do you tend to establish a healthy relation and environment in your institute?

“Developing a positive culture may be one of the best investments”

Well, an environment where students do not feel accepted or respected is a distraction from learning. A positive learning environment means that a student feels comfortable, has a sense of rapport with their teacher and peers, and believes they can be successful. Essentially, learning becomes a pleasurable experience rather than one where the student fights or fleas. Many ingredients go into making a thriving learning environment.
