How do the programs of your institute ensure the future preparedness of students?

I firmly believe that teaching should always be relevant as per course demands and students’ academic needs. Hence, we educate and train our students on how to use various technical tools and languages as per the present market scenario. In the first year, we teach our students the C programming language and later on offer various elective courses like Database Systems, Data Structure and Algorithms and Design Systems to make learning more interactive and engaging.

We regularly collect feedback from our students about teachers and also monitor their academic performance on a regular basis. And Faculty Development Programs are arranged by us frequently to keep our faculty up to date with the latest technological developments and train them in the same. Along with this, guest lectures in collaboration with our industry partners are arranged by us for them. Lastly, they do various certification courses to stay updated with the emerging world trends and requirements, which in return help them to deliver best to students.
How do you build a strong connection between your programs and industrial demands?

We have established a credit-based learning approach for our courses, and it's mandatory for students to complete a minimum of two internships over the span of two years. These internships which students pursue in esteemed industries educate them about the working culture and processes of the corporate world and also help them to utilize their existing skills and build new ones. What challenges are you facing while inculcating new programs in your curriculum?
"Curriculum development and unavailability of experts to contribute in the process is a real challenge for us"
We are facing different kinds of hurdles at different levels while including new courses in our curriculum. And the most prominent one is curriculum development itself for the courses. And things which make the whole process a bit tricky and complicated is finding out relevant study materials, because sometimes it becomes almost impossible to inculcate a teaching methodology that's easily accessible by students and affordable to us. Along with this, incorporating modern educational and institutional standards and requirements, finding suitable experts to contribute in curriculum development and implementing the defined curriculum are other few issues in front of us.
On what kinds of projects your students are currently working on under various respective programs?
"They are developing different types of Machine Learning projects"
Our students are developing a wide variety of projects related to Machine Learning which include bulk data review, data forecast and making of data prediction models. And a recent project that I really liked was the Emotion Based Music Recommender System which they developed to predict the mood of a person based on the image captured and then play songs that match their mood, also they made the whole project using OpenCV.
