“Quality learning experiences and atmosphere”
We always give students the comfort to make their education conducive as well as inclusive thus molding them for the future. We make sure that different industrial programs are offered to students so that they can connect their education with the innovative exposure they experience. The teachers are trained in such a way that they provide the best for the students and the parents also understand that the best is provided for their wards at Sri Krishna Arts and Science College. Parents are inclined to put their child here because of the discipline which we offer in the college. And also, we believe that there should not be any compromise in quality. A healthy environment is maintained by providing equal opportunities for the students without any bias. Transparency in academics and other aspects of College life provides confidence to the students.
How would you describe your leadership style?
“Democratic and objective leadership”
My leadership is more democratic where work comes first and later the authoritative and hierarchical aspect. We all work with one focus and towards one goal, which is nothing but providing quality education to students. As a team, we believe teamwork is the best work. Our motto has always been- ‘Together we can reach for the Stars’
How does the curriculum of your college ensure the best practice of industry?
“Alignment with industries, universities and feedback”
Academics is always our first priority and the advancement of the student in all aspects of his life is based on the academic aspect. We take great care and meticulous effort to prepare the curriculum which is updated every year. We believe that the stale method of teaching or old content being given to students every year will not suit the current development taking place around us. So, we make sure that we compare with world-class universities, pace with industries that are giving placements for us, go for the best analysis and get feedback from the alumni, HR, parents and students. The curriculum development cell makes sure that the curriculum is best suited to get placed in the career market given for students. We also make sure that the curriculum has a kind of industry connection or industry linkage, which will help students to bridge the gap between academics and the industry. All the MOUs, tie-ups and industry connections add the extra edge to the learning path of the students.

What would you like people to know about your college they may not know?
“Highly influencing international collaborations and tie-ups”
Apart from a beautiful infrastructure, a very good reputation, mechanisms or systems, by which it has its own way of functioning, Sri Krishna Arts and Science College has international collaborations with world-class Universities. We have international integrations with Clayton State University, Atlanta; Concordia College, New York; and also Texas A&M University, Dallas. We also provide credits for the students who are learning the programs and courses in these foreign universities, and we have two plus two credit transfer programs as well.
What do you see as your College’s greatest strengths?
“Great leaders and best exposure”
The greatest strength of the college is our Chairperson, Smt S. Malarvizhi who is a great visionary and leader par excellence. She is the greatest source of strength and pillar of our College. She believes that any recent advancement or technological learning methodologies should be brought to the College immediately. She also believes that the student should be given complete freedom but at the same time maintaining discipline. The CEO, Dr. K.Sundararaman is the rock and guide in our march towards excellence. The CEO, Principal, Faculty and students have the same common goal. Apart from that, the other strength of the College is the teaching-learning methodology with regard to MyKlassroom and Google Classroom. Snap talk and edutainment and the rich pool of exposure and experience which we give to the students are our other strengths.
What do you think your roles and responsibilities are, being the Principal?
“Keeping a fair management at the college”
I should definitely think about bringing in the advancements and innovations in curriculum, and also bring more industries for placements. I should keep in mind the needs of the students, parents and their unending trust in us. An academician is well connected with the parents, students and teachers, only through providing quality education. This is a kind of responsibility that assumes top priority from the point of view of management, student, academic and stakeholders. From ranking and putting the college in good positions, maintaining a reputation, thinking about the advancements and also looking at what other colleges are doing, we should march forward humbly.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth?
“Learn more, upskill more and achieve more”
Youth should always keep discipline in their mind. They should have inquisitiveness and interest to learn more, not to just settle down with what they know already; not to get satisfied with that knowledge. It’s an information era, whatever information which they get through the gadgets is not enough, they should understand the validity of that information. Do more online certifications and programs. They should learn more and equip themselves with diverse skill sets. Skill is extremely important. Whatever role they take up, they should become the best.
