Dr. Anil Kumar Yadav is an HOD of the Geography department in the Alankar PG Girls College, Jaipur. He did Post graduation, B.ed, M.ed and Phd from University of Rajasthan. He has two years of experience as a principal and also worked as an assistant professor in several institutes. He got Membership of Technical Societies consist of 25thConference of Indian Institute of Geomorphologist,2003, Deptt.ofGeography, University of Rajasthan and National Seminar on Water Conservation and Drought probably of arid area and its people “State policy research institute” Jaipur 2000. Some of the oral presentations of Dr. Anil includes National Conference Environmental Conservation and Management for Sustainable Era 2012, National Seminar on Regional Development and Decentralized Planning 2013, International Conference 9th Indo Japan Bilateral Conference on Changing Dynamics of Global Economy 2014 and more.

Being the HOD, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

“Run the sessions regularly and maintain attendance in classes”

We regularly run all classes perfectly with the time table. Our campus is also aware of students' attendance on all classes concerning respective subjects. We also suggest covering the syllabus of each paper according to the university syllabus. Hence, students are able to attend classes regularly.

How do you tend to establish health relations with the students and fellow faculty?

“Organize physical activities for both faculties and students in the campus”

We suggest all students to attend physical activity. These are running in college through a physical trainer. We give a friendly environment for all. 

How do you try to bring in a practical approach to subjects and make them industry-oriented?

“Motivate pupils to participate in project and design contests practically”

We bring a practical approach towards subjects and make it industry-oriented. Our campus motivates students to participate in project and design contests. It will enhance their Practical oriented knowledge.

How do you strategize the curriculum and get updated to make it befitting for the students?

“Provide practical aspects on subjects for students' growth”

We bring in best practices to give relevant exposure to the students. Universities update the syllabus every two years. Most of the curriculum is based on industrial requirements.

What are your views on the placements and higher education of the students from your department?

“Assists pupils to get employment and increase confidence levels”

Our students reported increased levels of confidence in these years. They are ready to apply for jobs upon completing their studies. Students are feeling confident in their ability to gain employment.

How do you help your student cope with the competition being so high in the outside world?

“Make time to complete students' course work and motivate their efforts”

Rather than focusing on beating peers or doing the best in the class, we emphasize simply doing the best that we can do. It helps us feel good no matter what the results. We make time each day to complete their coursework, give everything an honest effort, and ask professor questions when they need help.

Do you have any extracurricular activities to enhance the skills of the students or expose them to real-world challenges?

“Sports, cultural fests, and competitions are accessible for all”

Our Extracurricular Programs expose students to face real world challenges. They can participate in sports, and cultural fests. We support them to attend competitions and attain necessary skills. 

What are the challenges you faced to uplift the quality of education on campus?

“Lack of technical skills among students is a great challenge nowadays”

We should practically work with the help of students. Our faculties encourage pupils to experiment with the help of present issues and challenges. It will help us grow up, get more opportunities and new ideas.

What are the interventions and approaches you bring in apart from the curriculum to train the students?

“Emphasize skills by making students participate in seminars, conferences and debates”

We deal with employability in public, private, and corporate sectors. One of the primary focuses is on International employment. We update syllabus as per contemporary technological breakthroughs. New industry topics provided through seminars, conferences, debates and impart modern research practices on campus. So, students can strengthen their skills widely.
