What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Education is the spark that lights up any mind”

We continuously endeavor to enlighten us with new techniques and technology. The best part of being connected with the education system is that we are a part of nation-building as we are teaching and training young minds.

How do you plan activities and programs to enhance the skills of the students?

“Innovative ideas with strategies to implement the best development for students”

I was the Head of the department and always invited suggestions from the other faculty members of the department for the smooth running of the department. Every faculty member is a root for the progress of the entire department. Bright and weak students are identified based on their performances in the classroom teaching and the programs or activities are planned according to their need so that every student is skilled with the technological advances in the subsequent development phases.

What is your strategy to make your curriculum different from the other institutions?

“Evolution and execution of suggestions to shape a great academia for our students”

Our institute is affiliated with Rajasthan Technical University Kota. The university has its own prescribed syllabus and we comply with the same. ECE Department made additional efforts to impart knowledge of the latest trends by covering aspects through “Content beyond Syllabus”. Some expert talks and MOOC courses are rolled out in synchronization with the existing university curriculum to make the students updated about the latest and emerging trends of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

How do you train yourself or the faculty to deliver this program to the students?

“Management and time-bound meetings for a follow up of academic structure”

Faculty members are always keen to learn the needs of every student so that he/she can do well in the related area like exams and placements. For that, faculty members do proper homework about how the related subject is to be delivered well in time with complete coverage of the syllabus. A proper lecture plan is framed and the faculty members follow the plan to complete the prescribed syllabus on time. Besides that, some topics beyond curriculum are also covered to give the students a better understanding of the subject and its practical aspects. Laboratories are a very essential and important part of technical education.

What is your approach to making a healthy environment for your students?

“Mutual understanding and mutual respect among each member and students of the institute”

Continuous assessment is also done based on observations made by faculty in lectures and laboratories, assignments, and class tests conducted regularly. Weak students are motivated for their careers and have given proper counseling to regularly attend the classes. Batch counselors regularly follow their progress and extra or remedial classes are also arranged by subject faculty to inculcate theoretical concepts through these special classes, Top three students, in end semester examinations are awarded a certificate of merit and cash prize.

Please share your experience with technical education in today’s world?

“When you know better, you do better”

Technical Education is vital for the growth of any country. It takes ages to make a nation into a developed country and a prosperous one; this cannot be achieved without education. Scientists and technologists are doing their bid for progress and development in diverse areas. And during this pandemic, we realized how distance learning through different online platforms can also be utilized for enhancing knowledge. This is the key example of how technology has removed the barrier and we can connect virtually. All credit goes to technical education.
