Looking into the vast potential of technical & professional education in the state of Bihar and to avoid the migration of thousands of Bihari students to other states to pursue Engineering education, SITYOG Institute of Technology is committed to playing a vital role in providing technical & professional education in the state, in the years to come.

We offer value-added courses and students are enrolled in them imparting transferable and life skills. We have done MoUs with more than 50 Companies in the last 10 years and many more to come. Our students are completely trained to adopt the working environment of the industries. 

I would be more than happy to announce that in COVID-19 Pandemic we have given 90% Placement to our Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, BBA, and BCA Students and 70% placement to Civil Engineering students in reputed companies like Hettich, Capgemini, Radiant Electronics & Appliances, Collabera, IDTR, AQUA group, and Bhagwati Products Limited, etc.


What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the Institute and the students are?

I am a firm believer that 'Knowledge' and 'Discipline' are the main ethos of any organization. Also, the need for quality education has never been so acute as it is today. In keeping with these requirements, we, at SITYOG Institute of Technology, have designed our programs that provide the students with learning, competencies, and skills that set them apart with the help of world-class infrastructure and experienced faculty. We are striving to impart an education that not only sharpens the intellectual ability of the student but also inculcates ethical and aesthetic values, thus molding a multifaceted personality that is ready to shoulder responsibilities towards the family, the society, and, above all, the nation.


What do you think should be the Institute’s top priority over the next 10 years?

We will improve our academic performance and student success by attaining each of the following strategic priorities:

  • Increase relevance of instruction to student needs both personally and in the workplace. 
  • Exercise due diligence to ensure that we provide an excellent academic curriculum based on sound analysis of the needs of students and future employers and that is workforce driven.
  • Improve educational attainment levels in the region by Increasing the ease of higher education access, Assisting students in identifying life and academic goals and planning pathways to attain goals, Embracing technologies and modes of delivery that can be successfully utilized by students, and Building on Industrial partnerships and increase coordination with regional secondary education institutions to improve Institute readiness.
  • Increase student success rates across all disciplines while maintaining academic rigor and quality educational outcomes. Complete focus on Programme outcome and Course outcome. 

What was your vision for the Institute from the start?

To prepare our students for a rapidly changing world by equipping them with critical thinking skills, global perspective, and respect for core values of honesty, integrity, loyalty, and compassion. Developing these skills is the cornerstone of the education we offer.

To provide a good environment for individuals to transform into technologically, superior, socially committed, spiritually elevated, and nationally responsible citizens.

To emerge as a world-class institution in creating & disseminating knowledge, and providing students a unique learning experience in Science, Technology, Management, and other areas of scholarship.

We offer Induction Program to our fresher students to help new students adjust and feel comfortable in the new environment, inculcate in them the ethos and culture of the institution, help them build bonds with other students and faculty members, and expose them to a sense of larger purpose and self-exploration. We also give an Induction Program to our New Faculties to understand the methodology of Technical Teaching and full fill Course outcome and Program Outcome.
