What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?
“To come up with innovative solutions for better education”
Education is a key aspect of the economic growth of any nation. With this thought in mind, I joined the education field. During this journey, I found that many engineers who have completed their education from my institute got tremendous success in their life. They have contributed a lot to many factors which are important for our nation such as health, unemployment, quality production of factories, innovative designs of machines, and the safety of everyone on the earth. These energetic aspects have been motivating me continually.
What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?
“Keeping the ability to manage conflicts and smooth functioning”
Leadership is a unique ability that can play a vital role in the planning and execution of any task or project. In most cases, this ability develops from their family culture and earlier education system. I have developed the majority portion of this ability through the working environment and need of time. After my long ten years of experience as Head of Department, I firmly confess that many things have to be understood before deciding for the betterment of the department and institute. My leadership style involves motivating the members for teamwork where they have complete freedom, satisfaction, and growth.

How does the curriculum of your College ensure the best practice of the industry?
“Constant monitoring of the system and upgrading of the curriculum”
Nowadays, the up-gradation of technology is at the top of the chart for all manufacturers. So, the knowledge of fundamental laws is not sufficient for engineers at present time. They should be aware of the latest trends in engineering to meet the demand of the industry. The syllabus designing team gets along with senior professors and renowned industry experts to continuously upgrade the syllabus as per the industry need.
Any insights into how your institute could be more welcoming to students of different races or economic backgrounds?
“Weeding out any possible hindrances”
Our founder chairman’s motto was that any institute can attain growth in a better way if they have three strong pillars- qualified faculties, well-developed laboratories, and libraries with full resources. Keeping these parameters in mind, our present management continuously makes efforts and makes a policy with the motto of “Better Education with Affordable Price” which attracts all classes of students.
What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the institute and the students are?
“Aligning the goals with the development of the students”
My role is to manage all departmental activities for the growth of students and up-bringing the department to match up with institute objectives. Moreover, designing and execution of co-curricular activities is also a pivotal duty for the multidirectional development of students.
What do you think should be the institute’s top priority over the next 10 years?
“Acquiring relevant knowledge and skills”
Engineering education must play a vital role in the upcoming decade due to the mission of the Central Government as Make in India, AtmaNirbhar Bharat, and others. The institute has not to produce only engineers but has to provide a platform for entrepreneurs or technocrats by necessary changing in curriculum and developing required skill-sets.
Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?
“Have a welcoming attitude towards challenges”
India is the second-highest populated country in the world and there are many opportunities for entrepreneurship. Also, the Government has taken many initiatives to become the world’s first choice for manufacturing hubs. But, most of the present youth are trying to find a safe job in an office environment and end up keeping themselves away from challenges. So, I would like to suggest that the youth should come-up with new start-ups and should become successful entrepreneurs. This is directly or indirectly the best way for the betterment of the nation.
