What are some of the biggest challenges you see for higher education?

“Enrolment rate and deviated mindset of students”

The Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) of India in higher education is just 15% which is very low when contrasted with the other creating nations. With the expansion of enrolments at the school level, the stock of higher education foundations is deficient to fulfill the developing need in the nation. As far as SCOE is considered, students' deviation towards research area and placements is a challenging point. We need to empower students with more practical skills so that they can create opportunities rather than grasping ones’ already existing in the field.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth?

“Know the right set of values and skills”

The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not a bully; be thoughtful, but not lazy; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant; have humor but without folly. Do not become a part of the crowd; stand differently and most importantly maintain emotional stability.
