Dr. S.L. Badjate is presently working as the Principal at S B Jain Institute of Technology Management and Research, Nagpur. He has a doctorate in the field of Electronics Engineering with excellent research work in the field of Neural Networks. With a wide teaching experience of around 30 years and administrative experience of 16 years, he is a recognized Ph.D. supervisor and was Chairman of Board of Studies of R.T.M. Nagpur University Nagpur. His research work has been published in reputed publications and renowned National and International Journals. Also, he has a patent filed to his credit.

What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Passion and interaction with younger students”

Education is a powerful tool to shape minds and foster growth of youth of this country. The key factors which keep me connected with the education sector are passion for teaching, like to interact with young minds and direct them towards their goals. I feel extremely satisfied in playing my role for the bright future of the nation. 

How would you describe your leadership style?

“Establishing a positive and student-oriented working environment”

My philosophy of leadership is developing a positive culture of which staff, students and stakeholders are a part of the system. My approach for the development is student centric. The overall development of the students is the primary objective and concern, being the Principal of the Institute.

S B Jain Institute of Technology, Management and Research is an autonomous Institute. The faculty members are regularly interacting with the industry expert before designing the curriculum.
