What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

This sector has attracted me as it motivates me to learn new things and topics”

I believe that interest and personality are two essential factors that keep an individual bound to a particular profession or a sector. When we have mastered ourselves in a specific trade it becomes easy to explore and learn. I have always been passionate about interacting with new students and keeping connections with old students. Teaching has always been my cup of tea. Somewhere I feel that I play a vital role in shaping the personality of students and developing them into an asset to the nation.

What do you think your responsibilities to the institution and the students are?

“To be a responsible academician and nurture the students with the best opportunities”

As an administrator, I am responsible for the implementation of all the policies and procedures laid down for the upliftment of the institution. I am responsible for the attainment of the objectives of the stakeholders of the institute. SWOT analysis of the education sector should be made clear to the aspirants. They should also be made aware of the requirements of the changing Corporate World. Skill development is another area that needs to be enhanced.

What has been your vision for the institution?

“To establish student-centric policies and work towards their comprehensive growth”

My dream was to develop plans for the holistic development of the Management students. I along with the team of management gurus developed the system of councils which were headed by specialised academicians. 4 councils are working at the departmental level for the overall development of students:

  • Student Activity Council: Its objective is to develop the attributes like team spirit, leadership style, innovation, idea generation etc.
  • Corporate Resource Management Council: It has the objective of developing the students professionally so that they are placed in good companies.
  • Research and Development Council tries to develop the idea generation trait of the students in the area of research.
  • Academic Council: This council makes the students academically strong by making them attentive in studies and project work.

Thus, through these councils and clubs, we can achieve our vision and are still in the process of doing much more for our students.

Any suggestions you would like to give to the aspiring students?

“Students should utilise cognitive thinking and invest in innovative ideas”

The most important suggestion I want to give is that the key to success is making the right decision at right time. I would insist that the youth of the nation should take a prompt and correct decision. They should be able to maintain emotional balance while taking decisions. The youth must be highly adaptive to the changing world so that they can lead a quality life.
