Dr. M Ashok is a Principal in the Malla Reddy Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad. He is a Technocrat with exposure to academics and Research. He obtained PhD in Computer Science and Technology from Sri Krishna University in Digital Image Processing in the year 2012. He did M.Tech. in Computer Science from JNTU, Anantapur and B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Sri Krishna Devaraya University. At Academic end, he worked in Institutions like Malla Reddy Institute of Engineering and Technology and Sri Sai Jyothi Engineering College, in various capacities from Assistant Professor to Professor and Principal. He has organized many Conferences, Workshops and FDPs. Presently, he is guiding Three PhD Scholars under JNTUH, many M.Tech Students in JNTUH, materializing many MOUs between Academic Institutes and Industries established Laboratories or Services. He has been invited to various colleges to deliver lectures and keynote addresses. His research interest is in the field of Image Processing, Data Mining and OS. He is an Editorial Board Member and Reviewer of ICETETS, NCARSE - International Conference. He published 50+ research papers in many reputed Journals and Conferences. He is a Professional Member of IETE – India, ISTE-India, CSI-India, IAENG-Hong Kong,etc.

Our institute encourages the faculty members to attend the Pedagogy, Faculty Development programme (FDP), Workshops, Seminars, Conferences and NPTEL courses in Emerging technology to enhance their teaching skills. Furthermore, the institute enters into MoUs with the reputed industries with an objective to train the faculty members who further train the students in the due course in the institute. This is what we call ‘Train the trainers’ concept.

They assert that the needs of the industry are not taken into account in engineering curricula. We encourage students to complete internships with reputable software firms during their studies in order to close this gap between academia and industry. In order to provide training to our students and provide remote internship projects. We have MOUs with internationally renowned software, core industries and AICTE internshala. The MoUs companies are offering real-time projects for a o final year student. Throughout the project, the students get the option to collaborate with developers.

What are the types of projects that students are working on through this program?

“Mini and main projects are provided to pupils from the campus”

Our institute implemented two types of projects such as mini and main projects for all the students. We tie up with different industries to offer real time projects to students in their studies. Major projects give students the opportunity to formulate their own inquiries about a subject, gather, arrange, assess information, come to conclusions, and communicate findings via presentations and explanations. Students may convey the findings of their research in a variety of ways, such as through the creation of a paper, a model, oral presentations, simulations, or physical objects. Depending on their interests, students will occasionally choose their own project ideas, while other times, mini projects will be centered around particular academic subjects being covered in class.
