Being a Faculty of the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students?

“To monitor academic aspects, class incharge and performance of students are my primary responsibilities”

One of my primary role is to address academics performance related issues of students of the class assigned. We ensure the syllabus completion of all subjects before the final examination.

Our campus takes care of the academic performance of the allotted students and their regularity to class. We monitoring academic aspects of the students to improve knowledge and skills to effectively engage students or improve their learning.


How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty in Jerusalem College Of Engineering?

“Organize day to day programs, share knowledge with each other and give a comfortable space on campus”

We make students understand that all the teachers are their well-wishers. Interacting with them about family, friends by organizing today's activities on campus. Our faculties understand them and guide us forward. We provide the space for sharing knowledge with each other. Our campus gives values for them to stay in a comfortable zone.


How do you try to bring in a practical approach towards subjects and make it industry oriented?

“Arrange industrial visits, real life examples and share expectations from students”

We provide real time examples by showing videos about the operation of various industries. Our campus invites speakers from industries to share the expectation from students. We are arranging Industrial visits and In-plant training for students' benefits. 


What are the best practices offered by the Jerusalem College Of Engineering to the students which help them gain necessary skills?

“Workshops, guest lectures and ICT enabled tools are provided to students”

Students get the knowledge of ICT enabled tools and technical Quiz competitions. They get guest lectures and workshops from the campus.

How do you strategize the curriculum and get updated to make it befitting for the students?

“Strategize curriculum as per industrial requirement, equal weightage and monitoring industrial changes”

Our curriculum should always be strategized as per the industrial requirement.We also focus on giving equal weightage to theory and practical curriculum. It should be updated immediately by monitoring the change in requirement of the industry.


What are your views upon the placements and higher education about the students from Jerusalem College Of Engineering?

“Train the students for placements and give guidance for effective subjects”

Our primary aim is to train the students industry ready. Ample opportunities are waiting for the students in both software and core industries. Effective teaching and guiding students for higher education is our main goal. 


How do you help your student to cope up with the competition being so high in the outside world?

“Provide information about the importance of hard work in the competitive world”

Effective guidance assists students to know more about the outside world. We give tips and tricks and make them understand the importance of hard work.


Do you have any extracurricular activities to enhance the skills of the students or expose them to real-world challenges?

“Training, presentation sessions, workshops and seminars are available to pupils”

Students need to work on workshop, and seminars during their studies. They get hands-on training through presentation sessions. All these enrich their skills to face real world challenges. 


What are the challenges you faced to uplift the quality of education of Jerusalem College Of Engineering?

“Lack of student cooperation is the primary challenge faced by us”

Covid pandemic is a toughest time for most education industries. Afterward, we face difficulties in lack of student cooperation in various activities on campus. There seems to be a great lag on each program. 


When you came to college, what was your vision and how are you trying to achieve the same?

“To uplift students' careers is my primary vision”

Upliftment of students' careers is my greatest vision. Another one is to keep updating myself by teaching lessons to pupils. 


How does the curriculum of Jerusalem College Of Engineering ensure the best practice of Industry?

“Make changes in curriculum once getting the feedback from industry experts”

Our curriculum and syllabus is framed with feedback from the industry experts on the changes in the industry. It will be carefully reviewed by Board of Studies and approved by an expert panel of the Academic Council.


How does the college enhance the skills of the faculty and prepares them according to the industry standards?

“Organize FDPs and encourage to publish research journals from faculty side”

We encourage Faculties to attend Development Programs, and Seminars in recent trends of their respective field. They get the chance to publish papers in national and international journals such as scopus index, web of science etc.


What are the interventions and approaches you bring in apart from curriculum to train the students?

“Plant training, guest lectures, industrial visits and more are provided to pupils”

We are conducting hands-on training, guest lectures and seminars on recent topics. They get the chance to visit industries and plant training from the campus.
