Dr Pankaj Goel is the Head of the ECE Department at the IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad. He has completed his B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering, M.Tech in VLSI Design & CAD (Electronics & Communication Engineering Department) and Ph.D. (VLSI Implementation of Signal Enhancement techniques). His areas of specialization are Microprocessor & Microcontroller architecture and programming, Embedded Systems, IoT, VLSI Design, and, VHDL & Verilog Programming for Electronic circuit designing. He is passionate about training and educating young minds by bringing out their creative side and aspires to develop, chisel and polish that.

I give everyone the opportunity to participate and exchange their ideas freely. I also encourage discussion and believe that creativity should be encouraged and appreciated. I believe in open communication and ensure that everyone is kept informed.

  • Train the trainer workshop: Effectively training the faculty members so that they can train the students more efficiently.
  • Workshops for students: Filling the gap between the academic curriculum offering and the industry requirement.
  • Seminars: Renowned experts from industries regularly visits IMSEC campus for seminars to both faculty and students.
  • Technical events: Various technical events are conducted by the college with the collaboration of industries to enhance the knowledge and skills.
  • Industrial visit: Students of our college visit the industry during the course to get real-time exposure and practical knowledge.
  • Soft skill development: Soft skill training is also provided to the students in addition to the curriculum to prepare them well for the future.

Our college always works for diverse background students and provides scholarships to meritorious students and assists economically weaker students of all categories to get scholarships from various government agencies.   • PM’s ‘Digital India’ vision: 2,50,000 villages to be integrated with National Optical Fibre Network.
  • National Policy on Electronics (NPE): To make India a globally competitive destination for Electronics System Design and Manufacturing. It estimates that about 10 million jobs will be created as a result of the implementation of NPE.
