What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

"Learning opportunities this field offers have kept me intacted with it"

I always had a passion to learn new things and spread it among our students and youths. Also I get abundant learning and research opportunities here being in the education sector and this helps me a lot in fulfilling my curious attitude to know everything and latest happenings of both educational and industrial world. These things together I believe have kept me associated with the education sector for so long.

Being the Professor of Magdum College, what is your philosophy of leadership?

"I use my knowledge and experience to empower my students in every front"

As a professor, my main aim is to empower my students with all the required skills and ethical values they might need to work and grow in this ever changing yet competitive world. And hence, while I interact with my students, I keep a very friendly and respectful nature so that I can address students' issues, understand them from their point of view and resolve them on time. My philosophy is that even if the student is not good in the particular subject I teach, if he shows skill in something else I will grade him as such.

What approaches do you use to fulfill students' academic requirements?

"First I understand students needs and then draft teaching plan accordingly"

At the beginning of each semester, I conduct a survey to understand students' expectations they wish to achieve in my lectures and what target they have set for themselves. This strategy helps me ideate and plan my teaching plan and research activities which I need to conduct throughout each semester so that I can address students' interests and academic needs properly and confidently.

How do you modify your lectures to make it more accessible to underachieving students?

"By first conducting a survey to understand students expectations and needs"

In my previous role, I noticed that a majority of my students were struggling to comprehend the topics I was presenting in class. Then I conducted a survey to understand in which areas of each concept students are struggling and facing difficulty. And this approach helped me a lot in improving my lecture material and the way I present it to students to make the content more relatable by using different kinds of activities. This way I was able to help students increase comprehension and do the mastery of the subject.

How do you strategize the key programs for the marketing and administration of your institute?

"All this is taken care by the Admission Department of our institute"

Although the marketing and administration of our college is handled by the Admission Department of our college. But we stay connected with our existing and potential future students with the help of social media handles and websites and post all the college activities and achievements over there only.

Also, we motivate them to help each other when in need and grow with each other. And we believe that being in a diverse ethnic group will make students more compassionate. What do you think should be the Indian college's top priority over the next 10 years?

"Improving our education system and teaching-learning methodologies should be our goal"

I firmly believe that our priority for the upcoming years should be to make the Indian education sector as good as and equivalent to foreign education institutes so that our students don't need to go to overseas countries to pursue higher education of their choice. Because we are losing our Indian talents to foreign countries, universities and companies only because of this, and this ultimately impacts the economic growth of our country.
