Being a HEAD OFTRAINING & PLACEMENT OFFICER of DHANEKULA INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY, what are your roles and responsibilities towards the students

a) To coordinate for placements related activities, arrangement for Campus Placements.

b) To Identify the training needs of students and arrange the training sessions accordingly.

c) To empower students with career decision making skills.


How do you tend to establish healthy relations with the students and fellow faculty?

"Positive relationships improve student behave research supports that, the teacher plays a central role in shaping children’s behaviour and social skills"

Healthy relations tend to be more motivated to learn and he engaged in the classroom. It ensured the students trust, Kindness, Safety and Security. People who have healthy relationships are more likely to feel happier and satisfied with their lives.


How do you try to bring in practical approach towards subjects and make it industry oriented?

Practical approach towards subject is an approach where teachers teach the students by combining theory and practical work experience. It is always important to take time to identify exactly what the students have to learn and why skill development plays a vital role. We conduct industry related projects so that students can avail the opportunity of learning experience outside the classroom and could work with industrial professionals. 


What are your views upon the placements and higher education about the students from your department or How does your department prepare students for Higher education?

“You don’t have to be great to start but you have to start to be great”

College helps to increase the career stability with satisfaction. A placement offers the student insight into the world of work and allows to get a feel for what you do and don’t like doing. Higher Education provides more opportunities in their lives and tend to be healthier. The society gets benefited as well.

How do you help your student to cope up with the competition being so high in the outside world?

Healthy competition encourages students to devote themselves as much as possible to their studies. To create healthy competition between students ,everyone should be given a chance by creating an atmosphere of excitement among the students. It is always good to avoid competitor’s where students cannot win. Students should be guided until they identify or realize their full potential.


How does the department/ college/University enhance the skills of the faculty and prepares them according to the industry standards?

The college enhance the skills of the faculty and prepares them according to the industry standards by organizing faculty development programs(FDPs), workshops,Webinars, to identify upcoming changes in the curriculum. By welcoming new faculty members as resource persons and also by developing formal mentorship a lot of learning happens among the faculty


What are the interventions and approaches you bring in apart from curriculum to train/teach the students?

"Keep training and keep learning until you get it right”

A training intervention is a process in learning and development that involves training and development need assessment, training design, Training delivery, Training transfer as well as training evaluation.

Colleges greatest strengths are experienced , Well trained, dedicated and energetic teaching faculty with a supportive non-teaching faculty headed by Pro active Management it can be enhanced by strong commitment.


What valuable advice would you like to the students for them to have a prosperous career ahead?

“BE STRONGER THAN YOUR EXCUSES” They must be very strong enough to face the hurdles”

To have a Prosperous career ahead the students should be away from deviations. They should only focus on their goal. They ought to grow skills and knowledge to pursue passion.
