Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology, Chennai has declared the results online at the official website, i.e., cipet.gov.in. Candidates who wrote semester exams can check the personal details, marks details, and final result. 

The varsity will provide the CIPET exam mark sheet to the candidates at the end of the semester. After the declaration of the results, if a student is not satisfied with his/her results, can apply for the revaluation/totalling of the answer book. The request for the revaluation/totalling of the answer scripts is applicable for theory papers only.

Students shall be declared as pass if they obtained the minimum passing marks in the CIPET exam. It is mandatory to pass in theory and practical paper separately else shall be marked as a fail.

CIPET holds the semester exams twice in a year in May-June & December-January months. Therefore the exam result of CIPET is announced on the official website in July-August & January-February month.

CIPET Result 2023: How to Check?

Candidates should follow a few simple steps mentioned below to check CIPET results;

Step 1: Visit the official website of CIPET at www.cipet.gov.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, under the services section, select Academic option.

Step 3: In the Academic drop-down menu, choose Exam Results. 

Step 4: The result page will appear. Select the relevant result link. Click on the download button.

Step 5: CIPET Result 2023 will be displayed on the screen. Check the result.

Step 6: Save and take a printout of the same for future references.

CIPET Result 2023: Revaluation of Answer Scripts

Students who are not happy with the marks obtained in the theory exam can apply for the CIPET Result Revaluation. To apply for the revaluation, students need to submit the revaluation form along with the prescribed fee before the last submission date. No application will be accepted after the final date. The revaluation form can also be obtained from the office of the Controller of Examination (COE). After the revaluation process is complete the revised score will be considered and updated in the student mark list.

CCSU Exam Time Table 2023

The Central Institute of Plastic Engineering & Technology releases the CIPET Date Sheet for regular/ main/ supplementary examination online at www.cipet.gov.in. The date sheet is available in pdf format providing the details such as exam date, time, day, class, subject, course, and paper code.

It is necessary to submit the exam form along with the required exam fees within the stipulated time for appearing in the exam. Students are advised to appear for the exam according to the CIPET exam time table schedule.

CIPET Admit Card 2023

The Central Institute of Plastic Engineering & Technology releases CIPET admit card on the official website at cipet.gov.in.Students can download the admit card by entering the registered mobile number and date of birth. After downloading the admit card students must take a printout for future use. No candidate is allowed into the test centre premises without their admit card and valid identity proof. The CIPET Admit card consists of the details like name and address of the candidates, exam date, exam time, address of the exam centre etc.

Ans. Students who are not satisfied with their CIPET results in any of the theory exams can apply for the revaluation process on the official website. Students need to submit a Revaluation/Retotaling form to the Registrar within 10 days from the declaration of results.

Ques. What will happen if a student fails the CIPET final exam?

Ans. If a student fails in the exam for any particular subject, then he/she needs to reappear for that specific paper in the next succeeding semester-end examination. Students will not be able to receive a degree certificate in case they have any backlog exams.

Ans. After obtaining minimum qualified marks in the final year, students can receive their CIPET Degree certificate by submitting the online application form to the concerned authority.
