What is the latest program that you are offering in your institute/dept. which will help students outperform and stand apart from the crowd?

“The new trends of AI and ML are the need of the hour”

Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is the need of the hour. We have got 120 seats for the same, and no other college in Karnataka has 120 seats for this programme. We are exceedingly well in that course.

What are the factors that make this program the best for the students to opt?

“It is essential to build problem solving skills in students”

Problem-solving skills, build mathematical models to interpret artificial intelligence and development of machine learning algorithms in supervised and unsupervised environment are the main factors that make the program best for the students. Also, students with this degree will build artificially designed intelligent algorithms/ software solutions embedded in smart devices.

What are some valuable insights of the program that you are offering at your institute/dept.?

“We ensure to bring in practical approaches towards learning”

Additional laboratories with Industry collaboration will be facilitated to encourage out of the box thinking in students so they come up with innovative ideas. Additionally, financial support to prototype the ideas are valuable insights of the programme. The capability of the students after graduating from the institution such as adaptability, self-learning, confidence, team building, leadership qualities and capable of solving challenging problems shows the preparedness among the students for future 

How did you train yourself/faculty to deliver this program to the students?

“There are developmental programs for faculty”

Faculty members upgrade their teaching and technical skills by attending faculty development Programs. They take up online certification courses and understand the blooms level mapping with curriculum to deliver efficient and effective lectures.

How do you tend to build an industry connection with this program? 

“We have MOUs to bring in learning and placement opportunities”

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the industries for training, internship, and project development based on the students idea helps enterprises assess the students capability. It helps to create placement opportunities for students.

What are the types of projects that the students are working on through this program?

“There are multiple project based learning which students have undertaken”

Smart devices supporting health care, agricultural sectors, surveillance systems for society's safety, and many more projects are there which students have undertaken. The main aim of the project would be the development of algorithms that are machine intelligent and robust. Engineers who graduate with this degree work in R&D of Dell, Microsoft, Google and many more where there is a need for innovation. These engineers would be the architect of the future high active society.
