New Delhi: BITS Pilani has successfully conducted the BITSAT 2022 Session 1 Slot 1 examination for all registered applicants today, July 04, 2022. The second slot exam will now commence from 2 pm to 5 pm at various exam centers.

The BITSAT 2022 for session 1 was held in computer-based test (CBT) mode on July 04, 2022, for candidates across the country. Students had to answer multiple choice-based questions for the given duration of 3 hours; from 9 am to 12 noon. 

As per the BITSAT 2022 Exam Pattern, the question paper included a total of four sections, namely Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency and Logical Reasoning, and Mathematics/ Biology. 

The first two sections; Physics and Chemistry included 40 questions each, while English and Logical Reasoning sections included 15 and 10 questions respectively. The remaining section, Mathematics/Biology carried 45 questions in each section for 135 marks

As per BITSAT 2022 Paper Analysis, the first section (physics) included questions on topics related to Kinematics, Work and Energy, Rotational Motion, Gravitation, and the second section included chemistry-based questions.

BITSAT 2022 (July 4) Slot 1: Marking Scheme

Following the BITSAT marking scheme 2022, the question paper included a total of 250 questions which were distributed in different sections. Candidates are awarded 3 marks for each correct answer while 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.

BITSAT 2022: What Next?

As per the BITSAT 2022 Dates, BITS Pilani will conduct the test in two sessions -session 1 and session 2. Session 1 exams are now underway and will be held from July 02 to July 09, 2022. The session 2 exams are scheduled to be held from August 03, 2022, to August 07, 2022. 

Candidates appearing for the entrance test are required to carry their BITSAT Admit Card 2022 along with an identity card for the identity verification process at their allotted exam center. Failing to do so can result in exam cancellation of applicants.
