BIMTECH Launches Online-PGDM in Logistics & Supply Chain Management; Check Details Here


New Delhi: Birla Institute of Information Technology has launched a new two-year online Post-Graduate Diploma in Management in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (PGDM-LSCM). The curriculum is focused on developing practical skills.

BIMTECH has introduced this course in collaboration with TimesPro. The two-year online Post-Graduate Diploma in Management in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (PGDM-LSCM), a job-oriented skill-learning programme. Making this announcement at the BIMTECH Campus, the event also featured a panel discussion with guests from business and academics on "Transforming India into a Global Supply Chain Hub."

According to industry projections, the logistics sector is predicted to grow by 10–12% CAGR over the next five years due to increased consumer demand in e-commerce markets driven by improved infrastructure. In 2021, the sector was estimated to be worth USD 250 billion. The market is expected to reach INR 492.4 billion by 2025 with a five-year CAGR of 23.6 percent in terms of revenue because to big data, the internet of things, and artificial intelligence (AI) usage, according to Ken Research. Additionally, to make India the next major centre for industry, the National Logistics Policy and PM Gati Shakti would improve the country's multimodal connectivity. It will generate new employment possibilities and job roles in the transportation, logistics, digital warehousing, and related industries.

With the help of the Post-Graduate Diploma in Management - Online with a specialisation in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, students will be able to develop strategic and tactical frameworks, gain subject-matter expertise, cultivate soft skills and personalities, stay industry-ready, and pursue fulfilling careers.
