Teachers are to send assignments to students through email or other electronic devices which are to be completed within 15 days of receiving”.
Marking Scheme decided by BHU for Assignment Based Examinations
Students who are already done with their complete courses by mid- March can go for the assignment-based exams. In this case, BHU exam authority will consider the best scores out of the terminal and the assignment-based exams as the final score.
The students who are in the final year of various courses of BHU will be evaluated on the basis of their end semester and terminal semester scores. The university has declared the weightage to be in 30:70 ratio.
The candidates of the intermediate semesters will be promoted to the next subsequent year without the minimum pass mark of 4.0 GPA, which was previously required.
Candidates will be graded on the basis of their scores in terminal exams as well as on the assignment based exams which will be for 50% of the marks. Students who will not be satisfied with their scores can opt to sit for the exam the next year for improving the score.
Candidates with any supplementary exams in the previous semesters are supposed to clear them whenever the next examination will be possible to be conducted by BHU.
