Australia Introduces A Professional Skill Programme For Indian Students

New Delhi: On Saturday, an official reported that more than 2.6 million students have arrived in Australia to pursue higher education since the nation reopened its borders following the COVID-19-related shutdown.

Abdul Ekram, Australian Trade and Investment Commissioner for South Asia, stated that Australia has announced the Study Australia Industry Experience Programme for Indian students to enhance their employability.

The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) recently held its one-day 'Study Australia' road show to provide information about studying in Australia, meeting with institution officials, and visas and scholarships available to international students.

"We work closely with Indian students to ensure that they make the best decisions regarding their Australian education. The ‘Study Australia’ roadshow presented current, trustworthy, and pertinent information to students, parents, and institution leaders "Ekram's words were cited in a press release.

He stated that Australia provides kids with world-class education, excellent professional pathways, and an unparalleled lifestyle.

Since the reopening of the border in mid-December 2021 until July 22, 2022, nearly 2.60 million student visa holders had entered Australia, according to the Australian Trade and Investment Commission.

According to Ekram, an increasing number of Indian students have chosen to study in Australia over the years due to its world-class education, post-study employment possibilities, and high standard of life.

During the event, representatives from Australian universities provided thorough information on scholarships, student life, and safety in the country.
