Ashoka University: Child Rights Fellowship Jointly Launched with DCPCR; Check Details Here


Ashoka University in collaboration with the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights (DCPCR) has started a Child Rights Fellowship programme on December 19, 2020, to strengthen the implementation of children rights and engage young professionals. 

An official from Ashoka University said that the focus of the fellowship would be on early childhood care, curbing child abuse, and the development and education of children.

As per the official statement, the fellows will be granted an opportunity to work on the field in a district for a year. They will receive mentorship, support, and training for professional development from a programme team at Child Rights Fellowship (CRF) and government officers.

The Fellows will also work with DCPCR and other government departments in the district administration to effectively implement the policies of the programme while ensuring efficiency and accountability in child rights in the state. 

The commission said that it aims to create an opportunity for 5 professionals to create real and sustainable change in the ground situation through this collaboration. The application for the programme is open till January 4, 2021.
