AMU UG Admission to be Based on CUET 2022, Last Date to Apply is May 6

New Delhi: AMU has declared to accept CUET 2022 scores for UG admissions for the academic session 2022-23. The score will be used to grant admission to AMU for all undergraduate courses except for BTech.

The application form for CUET 2022 is released on April 17, 2022. To get admission to the AMU UG programmes candidates can apply for the entrance exam till May 6, 2022 (5 PM) and the registration fees will be accepted till 11:50 pm the same day. 

CUET 2022 has become mandatory for all the Central Universities in India for admission to undergraduate courses. Following the pathway of other central universities, AMU has also pitched in for accepting admissions 2022 for undergraduate programmes on the basis of marks scored in the CUET 2022.

CUET 2022 will be conducted by NTA for admission to UG courses in various universities. Interested students who have successfully completed their plus two level exams can apply for CUET through the official website. 

AMU has further clarified that it will conduct a different University level independent entrance test (AMUEEE 2022) for BTech, PG, class 11, and diploma programmes of AMU.

Students aspiring to take admission to AMU for any of the UG courses have to meet certain eligibility criteria:

• For admission in any of the undergraduate courses’ students must have done at least 10+2 with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Must have completed CUET 2022 with the minimum passing mark. 

AMU UG Admission 2022: How to Apply? 

Candidates can apply for admission to UG courses of AMU by following the steps mentioned below:

Step 1- Visit the Official website of AMU.

Step 2- Students have to register themselves on the website by filling the form with details. 

Step 3- After registering students have to login and enter the password generated during registration.

Step 4- Go through the form again after filling it and upload the required documents, photo, signature.

Step 5- Submit the form by paying the application fee according to the course opted by the students 

AMU UG Admission 2022: Selection Criteria 

To get admission to AMU for any of the provided undergraduate courses, students are selected on the basis given selection criteria:

• on the basis of their marks obtained in the admission test conducted by the university. 
• on the basis of marks obtained in CUET 2022. (Added from this year)
