The student intake of the university will also be increasing to over 1800. Ambedkar University released its admission brochure on Saturday, also stating that they will announce their admissions soon and that they would start their next semester for their previous batches from August 1.

The Vice-Chancellor Anu Singh Lather stated that there is still some amount of uncertainty regarding the admission process. He said that it would not be easy to set a timeline for the admission process right now.

The classes are to commence from August 1 for old students, and online teaching will be conducted until further development of this pandemic scenario.

The formed committee was told to consider the options and also to train the faculty in this new mode of teaching. The VC said that these are unprecedented times where higher education institutions are struggling with the teaching-learning process.

The VC also stated that the university has been able to manage their online classes rather well so far, and it has been able to smoothly adapt to a changed method of functioning as opposed to several other institutions who have not managed to carry out a proper teaching-learning process in the current scenario.
