There are about 301 PG medical seats available in 8 branches of AIIMS across the country in the second round of counselling, with the maximum seats offered by AIIMS New Delhi, followed by AIIMS Patna.
The process of AIIMS PG Counselling 2020 is entirely based on the merit ranks and rank list released by the authorities. The seat allotment depends on the factors like seat reservation for various categories and preference for AIIMS PG admission.

This year there have been significant changes in the number of seats available under different AIIMS institutes. The authorities have increased the seats in New Delhi Institute by 16, AIIMS Bhubaneswar has added 3 more seats, AIIMS Patna added 2 seats, AIIMS Bhopal added 6 and AIIMS Nagpur has increased the count by 8 more seats.
